Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass substrate with a protective film, wherein the protective film can be easily removed, thereby the environmental pollution caused by the cleaning solution used for removing the protective film can be suppressed, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The glass substrate with the protective film has the protective film formed on at least one surface of the glass substrate 1, wherein the protective film is a water-soluble protective film 2 formed from a water-soluble material.
