Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body structure suitable for use in a two-door automobile, capable of preventing deformation of a center pillar, especially falling into the vehicle interior, at the time of a side collision. SOLUTION: This car body structure for a vehicle is provided with a rear roof rail 6 forming a roof rear end of a vehicle body backward of the center pillar 3. A connection part 9 is provided to connect a closed cross section formed in the center pillar 3 to a closed cross section formed in the rear roof rail 6 to form a continuous closed cross section.
