MUD DEHYDRATING APPARATUS, AND MUD DEHYDRATING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehydrating apparatus capable of efficiently performing dehydration without requiring large equipment, and a dehydrating method. SOLUTION: This dehydrating apparatus 1 is installed in a cylindrical container 3 provided with mesh parts 4 formed by boring parts of a side surface, an impervious sheet 5 installed inside this container 3, lid bodies 7a and 7b installed at the upper and lower sides of this container, a communication tube 13 with a valve 11 installed in the lid bodies 7a and 7b, and communicating with a cylindrical tube 9 inside the container, a plurality of holes 15 installed on the side surface of the cylindrical tube, a water-permeable filter 17 installed so as to close the holes 15, and seal rings 19 and 20 for sealing the upper and bottom surfaces of the container 3.
