EMBROIDERY MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embroidery machine capable of inexpensively acquiring information relating to an embroidery frame and simplifying a route for transmitting the information. SOLUTION: The embroidery machine EM is provided with a base 1, a plurality of embroidery needles 2, an embroidery frame 3, a movable frame 4 to which the embroidery frame 3 is attached, a frame driving mechanism 5 for driving the movable frame 4 in an X direction and a Y direction on a horizontal plane, a needle selection mechanism 8, a sewing mechanism 10 for reciprocating the needle 2 right above a needle passing hole 9, and a needle lower base 14 provided with the needle passing hole 9 where the embroidery needle 2 passes through. A radio tag 20 on which embroidery frame information is recorded is stuck to the embroidery frame 3, and leg parts 1a and 1b arranged so as to face each other on both sides in the base 1 and the needle lower base 14 are provided with reception means (antennas) 21a, 21b and 21c for receiving the embroidery frame information recorded on the radio tag 20.
