Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indication device of a speed-variable drive device that prevents a user from being applied with unnecessary anxiety by stably indicating a rotational speed at constant-velocity drive without accompanying a delay of indication and hysteresis, and to provide its indication method. SOLUTION: The indication device 1 comprises a rotational speed indication setting means 3 that sets the value of a rotational speed that is desired to be indicated, and a rotational speed range setting means 4 that sets the range of the rotational speed. The indicator 2 of the indication device 1 indicates the value of the rotational speed set by the speed indication setting means 3 in the rotational speed range wherein the rotational speed of a motor 5 is set by the rotational speed range setting means 4, when indicating the rotational speed of the motor 5.
