WIRE END PROCESSING DEVICE AND WIRE END PROCESSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a core wire from breaking through an elastic tubular body when a wire is inserted into a rubber plug. SOLUTION: A coated portion Wb is elongated along its longitudinal direction such that the end of the coated portion Wb projects from the end of the core wire Wa. In a state that the coated portion Wb is elongated, the end of the wire W is inserted into a rubber plug P. After the end of the wire W is inserted into the rubber plug P, the wire end projecting from the rubber plug P is cut, thus arranging the core wire Wa and the coated portion Wb.
