Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shelf structure, connected to a plurality of cables whose bent radius is limited, in which the surplus length of cable processing can be executed inside a limited space range, and a unit having various functions can be inserted/extracted into/from the shelf, while the cables are put in an active status, and the mounting density of the shelf per rack can be improved. SOLUTION: A shelf 1 is configured of a shelf body 1a, whose front face is formed with a first opening into/from which an access panel unit 10 connected to an optical cable 9 is inserted/extracted, and a second opening into/from which units A and B for cooling are inserted/extracted; and an excessively long cable winding part for winding the surplus length portion of an optical cable 9, and a movable mechanism 3 for moving the the surplus length portion of the long cable winding part, in order to avoid the space occupied by the units A and B extracted from the second opening.
