OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium which has high storage reliability under high temperature/high humidity environment, stably operates at high temperature, and has excellent mechanical characteristic, and whose productivity is high, and can perform optical recording at high speed/high density. SOLUTION: In the optical recording medium having a light reflection layer which contains 95 atm.% or more Ag in at least an optical recording layer on a substrate with a guide groove, the average length Lag of a crystal grain of an optical reflection layer in a recording track direction and 1 bit length Lbit of a mark to be recorded satisfy relation of Lag≤Lbit.
