Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing a lithographic printing plate for improving plate wear of a minute image with less jumping in thin lines and a highlight portion occurring during printing a large number of sheets in the lithographic printing plate which contains physical developing nuclei between an anodically oxidized aluminum support and a silver halide emulsion layer and which utilizes a silver complex salt diffusion transfer method. SOLUTION: A lithographic printing plate which contains physical developing nuclei between an anodically oxidized aluminum supporting body and a silver halide emulsion layer and which utilizes a silver complex salt diffusion transfer method is exposed, developed and then treated with a processing liquid containing at least one compound in fluorides of metals selected from titanium, zirconium, zinc and hafnium.
