Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a granularity evaluator for therein inputting digital image information on a front plate for an electrophoresis display device in various optical densities at a high speed, and evaluating, in a short period of time, the granularity of the front plate for the display device in the respective optical densities based on an input image. SOLUTION: This granularity evaluator on a front plate for an electrophoresis display device is used for finding the granularity, that gives a rough feel, of the front plate for the display device that displays an arbitrary halftone by combining a correction factor with physical evaluation for evaluating the degree of surface roughness on the front plate for the display device by using a numerical value obtained by objective measurement.
