APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING METALLIC POWDER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING METALLIC POWDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for manufacturing a metallic powder, which prevents the production of coupled particles, and to provide a method for manufacturing the metallic powder. SOLUTION: The apparatus 21 for manufacturing the metallic powder has a gasification section 22 for sublimating anhydrous NiCl2, a reduction section 23 for reducing NiCl2gas by H2gas to produce Ni fine particles, a cooling section 24 for cooling the Ni fine particles, and a collecting section 25 for collecting the Ni fine particles, which are arranged in a single row in this order. The apparatus also has one reaction tube 26 so as to linearly pass through the gasification section 22, the reduction section 23 and the cooling section 24. The reaction tube 26 has a maximum inside diameter of a part 26c located in the cooling section 24, adjusted to be 3 to 20 times that of the part 26b located in the reduction section 23.
