RECEPTION DEVICE AND RECEPTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the demodulation precision while suppressing power consumption, in a reception device for use in a mobile adapted to HSDPA. SOLUTION: A reception device is provided with an advanced demodulation part 1011 of a demodulation system having a high demodulation capacity and a large power consumption and an ordinary demodulation part 1010 of a demodulation system having a rather low demodulation capacity and a small power consumption, and the advanced demodulation part 1011 is used by switching only in the case that the demodulation precision will be effectively improved by use of the advanced demodulation part 1011, and the ordinary demodulation part 1010 is used by switching in the other case.
