Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately display how much information desired by a user are present in the vicinity of a map displayed on a display screen. SOLUTION: On the basis of a first map displayed on a map image region 14 of a cellular phone 1 with GPS, a second map of an approximately the same size as that of the first map not displayed on the screen and adjacent to the first map is retrieved to retrieve information contained in the second map and measure the number of items of information contained in the second map.
