REFRIGERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator provided with a door closing device capable of closing a door even in a case that a user of the refrigerator strongly closes the door, or has a weak force for closing the door. SOLUTION: This refrigerator comprises the door 2 openably and closably supported by a refrigerator body 1; contact members 22 and 23 provided on the door 2; a receiving part 24 provided on the refrigerator body 1, which can abut on or separate from the contact members 22 and 23; a rotating plate 12 pivotally supported to be rotatable between a close position where the receiving member 24 abuts on the contact members 22 and 23 to close the door 2 and an opening position where the receiving member 24 separates from the contact members 22 and 23; and an elastic member 15 having one end supported on the rotating plate 12 and the other end supported on the refrigerator body 1. The elastic member 15 is provided so that a position where the tension becomes largest is located between the close position and the open position, and in the vicinity of the close position of the door 2, the door 2 is held in the close position by the elastic member 15 through the receiving part 24 and the contact members 22 and 23.
