FASTENING NUT, CONNECTING STRUCTURE OF BOLT AND NUT USING THE SAME, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE FASTENING NUT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastening nut not applying bending load and offset load to a bolt, being comparatively easily processed and fastened to the bolt, and surely preventing loosening of the nut. SOLUTION: This locking nut has a fastening ring 2 and an outer cup 5, and the outer cup 5 has an end plate 6, and a sleeve 7 connected with the end plate 6 and having the shape press-fittable to an outer periphery of the fastening ring 2. Further the outer cup has a height h2 higher than a height h1 of the fastening ring 2, the outer cup 5 is press-fitted to the outer periphery of the fastening ring 2, a locking ring top face 4 and an inner face of the end plate 6 of the outer cup 5 are kept into contact with each other, and a required clearance 9 is formed between a locking ring bearing surface 3 and a sleeve end face 8 of the outer cup 5.
