Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve uniformity (solid dyeing properties) of the degree of dyeing between cotton fibers and cellulose fibers and to impart sufficient dyeability to a yarn or a fabric containing both the cotton fibers and the regenerated cellulose fibers without deteriorating the touch feeling when the yarn or the fabric is subjected to dyeing. SOLUTION: Kemps (parts with weak strength and poor dyeability) present on the surfaces of cotton fibers are sufficiently removed to prevent adverse effects such as hardening of the regenerated cellulose fibers. Thereby, the fabric, etc., composed of the cotton fibers and regenerated cellulose fibers are subjected to a treatment with an aqueous solution of potassium hydroxide, etc., having ≤75 dyn/cm2surface tension under no tension until the coefficient of static friction becomes 50-75% of that before processing or subjected to the treatment under tension until the coefficient of static friction becomes 40-65% of that before the processing.
