Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a durable sealing member for a storage tank. SOLUTION: The sealing member 1 is provided in a gap between an inner roof 2 and a side plate 5 of the storage tank. A plate-like material formed of polytetrafluoroethylene is curved and bent, and the opposite side of the bent end is overlaid to provide an overlap part 1a. While the bent end side is brought upwardly into pressure contact with an inner wall surface of the side plate 5, the overlap part 1a is fixed to the inner roof 2 by a retainer 4 together with a sealing receiving material 3 made of polytetrafluoroethylene so that the bent end can be easily kept in an upward shape as it comes upwardly into pressure contact with the inner wall surface of the side plate 5 after the bent end is attached.
