AIR SPRING MOUNTING STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm type air spring mounting structure capable of reducing the degree of durability required for a diaphragm and its supporting/reinforcing member. SOLUTION: The diaphragm type air spring mounting structure comprises a first member (an air chamber) which is interposed between a vehicle body and a suspension arm in a vehicle and mounted on the vehicle body, a second member (a piston) connected to the arm, and a flexible membrane-like member (a diaphragm) to connect the first and second members to each other in an airtight manner. A posture maintaining means which is provided on a connection part between the arm and the second member to maintain the second member at the posture substantially orthogonal to the road surface irrespective of the stroke of the arm is provided on the structure for mounting an air spring with pressurized air filled in a space formed of these members on the vehicle. The posture maintaining means comprises a connection means to connect the second member to the arm so that the second member is oscillated with respect to the arm in the longitudinal direction of the arm, and a limiting means to limit the oscillation of the second member to the arm to be in a predetermined range.
