DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MOUNTING ELECTRONIC DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for mounting by which a chip held by a mounting tool can be easily and surely positioned by a gauge. SOLUTION: The mounting method includes a mounting step, that is, a step to take out a chip 6 by a pick-up tool 11 and reverse it, a step to receive the chip reversed by the pick-up tool by a mounting tool 49, a step to bring the received chip into contact with a gauge 51 and correct its position, and a step to mount the positionally corrected chip to a member 22 to be mounted to. Furthermore, it also includes a teaching step before the mounting step for mounting the chip to the member to be mounted to, wherein the turning angle of the mounting tool before reception of the chip is detected and the turning angle of the chip is detected as delivered to the mounting tool and corrected for its position by the gauge. During the mounting step, when mounting tool receives the chip from the pick-up tool, the turning angle of the mounting tool obtained in the teaching step is coincided with that of the chip corrected positionally by the gauge.
