OPTICAL DISK DEVICE AND OPTICAL DISK PROCESSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire extended contents in a state of maintaining security from a delivery server on a network. SOLUTION: An optical disk device is provided with a storage section for storing connection information which shows connection validity/invalidity with the external through a communication line, a communication means for communicating with the delivery server on the communication line according to address information in the optical disk, when these show a connection with the external with reference to classification information and connection information recorded on an optical disk when the optical disk is inserted, an authentication information transmitting means for reading authentication information for disk authentication from a storage area of the optical disk to transmit it to the delivery server according to a request from the delivery server, a download means for downloading the extended contents from the delivery server when the delivery of the extended contents is permitted by disk authentication processing in the delivery server, a reproducing section for reproducing and outputting the extended contents synchronizing with image/audio information in the optical disk, and an interruption means for interrupting a connection state with the delivery server when the optical disk is ejected.
