Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having superior durability and toner release property and capable of sufficiently suppressing increase in a residual potential due to repeated use, to provide an electrophotographic apparatus, a process cartridge, and a method of manufacturing an electrophotographic photoreceptor, and to provide a method of screening fluorine-based resin particles to be used for the structural material of an electrophotographic photoreceptor. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor 1 has a conductive support body 2 and a photosensitive layer 3 formed on the conductive supporting body 2. The photosensitive layer 3 has a charge transport layer 6, which contains fluorine-based resin particles and a fluorine-based graft polymer in the farther side from the conductive support body 2, wherein the fluorine-based resin particles satisfy a condition expressed by Formula (1): (5-10B)/A≥1 relating to the average secondary particle diameter and the weight reduction rate, when particles are heat treated at 300°C for one hour. In the Formula (1), A represents the average secondary particle diameter (μm) of the fluorine-based resin particles and B is the weight reduction rate (wt.%), when the fluorine-based resin particles are heat treated at 300°C for one hour.
