SKIN COSMETIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic, a medicine or the like, containing camellia oil, remarkably excellent in percutaneous absorption efficiency, exhibiting skin permeation-enhancing action on nonionic substances and skin permeation-inhibiting action on ionic substances when applied to the skin and remarkably excellent in protective action of horny layer of the skin. SOLUTION: The skin cosmetic comprises camellia oil, preferably unheated refined camellia oil, and the skin cosmetic contains only one or more kinds of substantially cis-type oleic acid-based components selected from cis-type oleic acid ester and cis-type oleic acid which is a free fatty acid as an oleic acid-based component derived from camellia oil, and the skin cosmetic exhibits skin permeation-enhancing action on nonionic substances and exhibits skin permeation-inhibiting action on ionic substances. The skin cosmetic includes a cosmetic oil, a skin lotion, an essence, a milky lotion, a cleansing oil, a hand cream, a bathing agent, a massage cream or a moisturizing cosmetic.
