PAPER FEEDING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding device of high working efficiency in supplying sheet bodies. SOLUTION: The paper feeding device 1 is capable of storing a plurality of sheet bodies on a stacking plate 2 supported by a plurality of coil springs 31 or a lift-up mechanism composed of screw shafts 41, 42, connecting members 50, 60, and the like. The lift-up mechanism lifts the stacking plate 2 according to the feed quantity of paper P only when feeding paper to an image forming device 100, and holds the top surface of the stored paper P into a paper feeding position 18. The coil springs 31 lower the stacking plate 2 according to the supply quantity of the paper P only when supplying the paper P, and hold the top surface of the stored paper P into the paper feeding position 18.
