METHOD FOR CONTROLLING TENSION IN WIRE ROLLING AND CONTROLLER USED FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of tension in wire rolling and a controller used for the same, wherein the dimensional accuracy or the like is surely stabilized by optimizing tension which is imparted to a wire. SOLUTION: In the tension control method of wire rolling, at least one side of the revolving number of each roll r and the rolling reduction in a second roll set R2 is controlled so that the product of the cross-sectional area S1 and the running speed V1 of a wire W2 which runs between a first roll set R1 and the second roll set R2 and the product of the cross-sectional area S2 and the running speed V2 of a wire W3 which runs on the downstream side of the second roll set R2 are equalized as much as possible as expressed by numerical formula 1; S1×V1 S2×V2.
