CAMERA UNIT SYSTEM FOR PORTABLE TERMINAL AND PORTABLE TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera unit system for a portable terminal for allowing a portable terminal to perform an optimum processing operation in accordance with a mounted camera unit. SOLUTION: This camera unit 4 is provided with an image pickup means 26 and a camera side storing means 28 for storing address information for specifying a prescribed communication destination. This portable terminal 2 is provided with a communicating means 42, an information acquiring means 32 for acquiring the address information from the camera side storing means and a terminal side storing means 40 for storing the address information. When the address information stored in the terminal side storing means is different from the address information acquired by the information acquiring means, the portable terminal uses the communicating means to perform communication processing to a communication destination shown by the address information acquired by the information acquiring means.
