DATA PROCESSING SYSTEM AND STORAGE SUBSYSTEM PROVIDED IN THE DATA PROCESSING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable matching of data between a second and a third storage subsystems, in a case that the second and third storage subsystems hold data stored by a first storage subsystem, without mutual inquiries for the respective progress states for data update. SOLUTION: The first storage subsystem generates and stores a data set containing an update number showing the update order of a first storage device 6A1 and write data stored in the first storage device 6A1 in one or more second storage device 6A2 and 6A3, and transmits this data set to the second and third storage subsystems. Each of the second and third storage subsystems stores the received data set in a third or fifth storage device 6B1, 6C1, reads the data set from the third or fifth storage device 6B1, 6C1 according to the update number, and stores write data in this data set in a fourth or sixth storage device 6B2, 6C2.
