PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooker automatically performing heating power control to impart proper heating power, and allowing easy knowledge of a time lapse while preventing boiling-over. SOLUTION: This cooker has: a heating means 1 heating a pot; a heat quantity control means 10 controlling heat quantity to the heating means 1; a temperature detection means 2 detecting temperature of the pot; a noodle-boiling mode setting means 9a performing an instruction of noodle-boiling operation; and a control means 17 operating the heat quantity control means 10 by a temperature signal from the temperature detection means 2. The control means 17 has a notification means notifying boiling when the temperature detection means 2 detects a boiling state when a noodle-boiling mode is set, thereafter, automatically controlling the heating heat quantity such that the boiling-over does not occur, and notifying the time lapse from the boiling notification every prescribed time.
