Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten slag trough having high cooling efficiency by improving and applying a stave cooler having high cooling efficiency in the molten slag trough for blast furnace used under severe using emvironment, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The stave cooler 100 is arranged through an iron plate 7 and a heat conductible cement layer 21 in order, on a refractory sidewall 8 in contact with the molten slag, and a basic material for casting the stave cooler is used with a cast iron or a ductile cast iron, and a cooling pipe 102 cast-in with this cast iron, etc., is coated with a brazing flux containing a boric acid, borax, cesium carbonate after applying an electroless-plating on the surface, and a brass is put up thereon. Successively, a divided or perforated copper plate is put up, and after coating a carburize-preventive flux containing boric acid, borax, soda silicate, copper powder, nickel oxide, cobalt oxide on this surface, this stave cooler is manufactured by performing the cast-in with the cast-in basic material.
