Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide jam agreeing with the intention of a consumer to health and light taste, having a low calorie, low sweetness and neat and good taste, hardly causing syneresis and having improved preservability. SOLUTION: The jam having the low calorie, low sweetness and neat and good taste, hardly causing the syneresis and having the improved preservability is obtained by adding highly saccharified reduced starch syrup preferably the one containing 40-60% monosaccharides and 40-60% disaccharides. The jam having the low calorie, low sweetness and neat and good taste, hardly causing the syneresis and having the improved preservability can be provided without elongating a condensing time when powdery highly-saccharified reduced starch syrup is used.
