Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellular phone capable of visually performing individual confirmation to an owner of a storage medium, and an individual confirmation method and system using the cellular phone. SOLUTION: This method comprises steps of: starting a cellular phone loaded with an authentication application program; taking an image of a subject for individual confirmation by an imaging means of the cellular phone and storing the taken image in a storage means of the cellular phone; transmitting, in performing individual confirmation to the owner of the storage medium, a signal for displaying the image stored in the storage means of the cellular phone on a display means of the cellular phone from a processor to which the storage medium is set to the cellular phone; and displaying, upon receiving the signal by the cellular phone, the image registered in the storage means of the cellular phone, on the display means of the cellular phone.
