Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catamaran having less wave-making resistance and high energy efficiency even if its hull shape is thick or an inter-hull space is narrow, especially applicable to a twin-bow vessel designed to cruise on the inland sea such as the Seto Inland Sea which generates small waves (back wash) at cruising so as not to give damage to a marine facility for cultivating oisters etc., or which can transport many passengers efficiently. SOLUTION: The catamaran has a pair of hulls under the upper vessel body coupled with each other by a cross-deck, wherein the hulls are arranged so that the space between their center planes C.L is narrowed from the top toward the vessel bottom when viewed from the nose of the vessel.
