PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability by recognizing the operation time and actual using condition of a motor-driven blower for the respective modes of the different inputs of the motor-driven blower or in accordance with using conditions. SOLUTION: An electric vacuum cleaner comprises the motor-driven blower 2, a control means 10 provided with the plurality of modes of the different inputs for controlling the operation of the motor-driven blower 2, a switching means for switching the modes, a first clocking means 13 for clocking the operation time of at least one or more of the plurality of modes and a nonvolatile storage means 20, and the storage means 20 stores the time clocked by the first clocking means 13. Thus, since the storage means 20 stores the operation time corresponding to at least one or more using conditions such as the input of the motor-driven blower 2 at the time of using the electric vacuum cleaner, by analyzing data stored by the storage means 20, the actual using condition is recognized and the reliability is improved.
