Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion ring assembly to seal a gasket regarding an annular wall of rigid structure. SOLUTION: It engages and drives separately the opposed end part of an expansion ring that includes the drive mechanism to expand the ring radially. The drive mechanism includes one set of block member that is formed of steel or hard plastic with the generally threaded hole in the reverse direction and one bolt with the threaded end part in the reverse direction against the threaded direction. The block member is engaged so as to interlock with the opposed end part to each of the expansion ring. The turning of the bolt in the first direction drives the block member simultaneously along the bolt to expand the expansion ring radially and the turning of the bolt in the opposite second direction drives the block member facing mutually along the bolt to shrink the expansion ring radially.
