Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosetting resin composition for an optical component, having high optical transparency, and excellent light, heat and water resistance, hardly being discolored and hardly causing the change of properties and deterioration. SOLUTION: The thermosetting resin composition for the optical component contains (A) a fluorine-containing epoxy resin having at least one fluoro group and at least two epoxy groups in the molecule, (B) an acid anhydride-type curing agent of a cyclic aliphatic polycarboxylic acid, and (C) a phosphorus-based curing accelerator as essential components.
