Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermostable enzyme having phosphate group intermolecular transfer activity in a sugar phosphate compound and to stably produce a sugar phosphate to be a substrate for sugar chain synthesis. SOLUTION: The gene of phosphate group intermolecular transferase in a sugar phosphate compound is found from all genome genetic information of Sulforobus tokodaii, superthermophilic archaebacterium and a thermostable phosphate group intermolecular transferase in a sugar phosphate compound is obtained by using the gene by an genetic engineering means.
