INFORMATION PRESENTATION APPARATUS, INFORMATION PRESENTATION METHOD, AND INFORMATION PRESENTATION PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide highly efficient and low-cost connection positions for slave stations for speeding up communication speed with a communication trouble at individual houses preventing in a power line carrier communication system. SOLUTION: An information presentation apparatus presents connection position information for connecting the slave stations separating a power signal from an information signal superimposed by a master station to in-house power lines. The information presentation apparatus comprises: a calculation section calculating an impedance against a variation in a signal frequency at respective power lines between the connection position of the master station and the connection positions of a plurality of slaves stations in the houses based on information on the in-house power line wiring and information on the connection position of the master station; an identification section identifying the power line having the variation value of the impedance falling in a predetermined variation value or below; and an information presentation section presenting information on the power line identified by the identification section as the connection position information on the slave stations based on a calculation result obtained from the calculation section.
