MANAGEMENT INFORMATION BASE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional network apparatus to be managed that a complicated access method is used because fixed management information and variable management information are intermingled in a management application processing section 11 and processes for managing data acquired from an apparatus management processing section 15 and data set by a network management apparatus are not unified in the management application processing section 11. SOLUTION: A management information base 12 disclosed herein comprises: a management information storage section 121 for storing data of a network apparatus to be managed; a management information definition section 123 for grouping management information depending on its characteristic and defining the group; and a control section 122 for carrying out control, and defines an access method in response to the characteristic of the management information.
