SOLAR BATTERY MODULE AND SOLAR BATTERY ELEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar battery module which does not remarkably reduce the whole power generation current even to a shadow locally generated discontinuously on the solar battery module; can maintain the power generation amount of the solar battery module even to a shadow generated in an arbitrary place such as a shadow generated by a standing timber, a power pole, an electric cable, a building or the like; and does not increase a manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The solar battery module 10 can be realized by satisfying condition expressions (1) or (2). The solar battery module 10 which is subjected to serial connection is designed so that the power generation amount is 40 to 60% of a maximum power generation amount when 5% of the solar battery module 10 is completely shaded in a direction perpendicular to a serial connection direction, and the power generation amount is 10 to 35% of the maximum power generation amount when 10% thereof is completely shaded. The solar battery module 10 can be realized by opening by the density of the second hole 1c of a solar battery element 13 to be incorporated at 0.7 to 3.0 pieces/cm2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
