Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the capacity efficiency in the periphery of a cooler in a refrigerator adapted to mount a cooling unit to an inner box before filling a foam heat insulating material. SOLUTION: The cooler 13, an intake pipe 29, a defrosting temperature fuse 22, a defrosting temperature detection sensor 21 and a defrosting heater 14 are engagingly fixed through a resin-made holding member 23, whereby the cooling unit 24 is constituted. The cooling unit 24 is mounted on an opened opening part 25 of an inner box 4 located above a water receiving tray 15 on the back surface of a storage chamber from the side of filling the foam heat insulating material, whereby the cooler 13 can be arranged in a space above the protruding shape of the inner box 4 of a compressor 19, and a large storage space of the cooler 13 can be ensured.
