DEHUMIDIFIER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehumidifier with high energy saving property, in which the feed quantity of cold heat medium can be reduced by removing waste input not contributing to dehumidification among compressor inputs, and a control device therefor. SOLUTION: The dehumidifier comprises a heat pump circuit including a compressor 11, an expansion valve 12, an evaporator 13, and a condenser 14; a first heat exchanger 15 receiving supply of cold heat medium from a cold heat medium supply device 19 other than the heat pump circuit; a blower 16; and the like. The air 110 introduced to the inside by the blower 16 is cooled with the cold heat medium supplied from the supply device 19 in the first heat exchanger 15 to reduce the sensible heat, then cooled to a dew condensation point or lower by refrigerant in the evaporator 13 to reduce the sensible heat and the latent heat, further heated by the refrigerant in the condenser 14 by the total portion of the heating value released to the refrigerant in the evaporator 13 and the heat input of the compressor 11, and then supplied to the outside through an air supply part.
