Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an one-way clutch capable of arbitrarily holding a roller in a non-contact state in idling. SOLUTION: A cylindrical face 5 is formed on an outer periphery of an inner ring 1, a cam face 6 is formed on an inner periphery of an outer ring 2, and the roller 4 incorporated between the cam face 6 and the cylindrical face 5 is held by a holder 3. A torque applying means 10 for applying torque in one direction to the holder 3 by distributing the electric power to an electromagnetic coil 14a, and an elastic member 20 for applying the torque in the other direction to the holder 3 are mounted, the engagement and disengagement of the roller 4 is controlled on the basis of the distribution and interruption of electric power to the electromagnetic coil 14a of the torque applying means 10, the roller 4 is moved radially outward by a taper face 8 formed on a pocket 7 of the holder 3 rotated by the elastic member 20, and the roller 4 is held in a non-contact state to the cylindrical face 5 of the inner ring 1 in disengaging the roller.
