METHOD FOR PRODUCING SILICA-TREATED CARBON BLACK, CARBON BLACK OBTAINED THEREBY AND RUBBER COMPOSITION COMPOUNDED THEREWITH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a silica-treated carbon black having improved heat-generating property and braking performance on a wet road without deteriorating the abrasion resistance compared with conventional silica-treated carbon black, provide a carbon black obtained by the production method and provide a rubber composition having improved temperature-dependency of visco-elasticity without deteriorating the abrasion resistance compared with a rubber composition compounded with carbon black and silica by conventional method. SOLUTION: The method for producing carbon black uses a carbon black reactor composed of 4 spaces comprising a hot combustion gas generating part, a stock oil introducing part, a reaction part and a reaction stopping part and introduces a silica sol or an aqueous solution of silica sol into either one of the 4 spaces.
