Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for effectively preventing milk fever, capable of easily being administered to pregnant cows, and also increasing the calcium concentration of blood within a relatively short time after the administration. SOLUTION: This preventing agent for the milk fever consists mainly of coral, especially the same originating from natural fossil coral as an active ingredient. The feed used for preventing the milk fever contains the coral especially the coral originating from the natural fossil coral. The method for preventing the milk fever comprises to supply the preventing agent or feed before labor and/or within 6 hrs after the labor to the pregnant cow. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
