CONNECTION STRUCTURE BETWEEN DIFFERENT KINDS OF ELECTRIC CABLES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple connection structure between different electric cables, in this case that they are a general electric cable and a coaxial cable, which realizes higher connection strength. SOLUTION: While an internal conductor 11a of the coaxial cable 11 and a core wire 12a of the general electric cable 12 are contacted closely with a first barrel portion 13a of a joint terminal 13 by pressing, an insulating layer 11b of the coaxial cable 11 is contacted closely with a second barrel portion 13b by pressing. Then, a connection region including a sheath 11d of the coaxial cable 11, the joint terminal 13 and an outer insulating cover 12b of the general electric cable 12 is covered with a heat-shrinkable tube 15, and a heat treatment of the heat-shrinkable tube 15 is carried out in order to make the heat-shrinkable tube 15 adhere to the connection region tightly.
