CYLINDER BORE MEASURING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder bore measuring device capable of measuring the bore of a cylinder whose both upper and lower end faces are not open. SOLUTION: The cylinder bore measuring device 40 measures the internal diameter 53 of the cylinder 11 being a measuring object of an engine 10 having a through hole 43 parallel to the cylinder axis 52 in the cylinder head portion 14. This cylinder bore measuring device 40 is composed of an operator 44 inserted into the through hole 43 movably from inside the cylinder 11 to the outside of the engine, a measuring head 42 arranged inside the cylinder 11 by being fitted to one end 44a of this operator 44, and probes 41 ... attached to this measuring head 42 to measure the distance up to the internal surface of the cylinder. The internal diameter of the cylinder 11 whose both ends are closed is measured by putting the measuring head 42 and the probes 41 ... in the cylinder 11 beforehand, and performing measurement operating the operator 44 from outside.
