STORAGE TYPE WATER HEATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage type water heater that can heat a periphery of a heat exchanger in a short time by transferring heat of an external heating circuit to an indirect heating circuit, always take out hot water, and allow a long-time heating operation or the like. SOLUTION: The water heater comprises a circuit 2 for heating that has a heat exchanger 21 over a hot-water storage tank 1 and performs heating, a circuit 3 for reheating that has a heat exchanger 31 over the hot-water storage tank 1 and performs reheating of a bath, and an external heating circuit 4 that takes out the hot water in the hot-water storage tank 1 to the outside, heats it, and returns it to the hot-water storage tank 1. An auxiliary heat exchanger 5 for performing heat exchange between fluids flowing in pipes 16a and 23a is disposed between the pipe 16a on the downstream side of a heating section 15a of the external heating circuit 4 and the pipe 23a on the downstream side of a loading 11 of the circuit 2 for heating.
