APPARATUS FOR FEEDING WARP OF WEAVING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control fluctuation of warp tension, to prevent weaving bar, to reduce capacities of a rotation driving source and a transmission for driving the revolving shaft of a warp beam, to widen use condition ranges such as allowable warp tension, beating density range, etc., and to improve general purpose properties of a weaving machine in a warp feeding apparatus of a weaving machine. SOLUTION: In the warp feeding apparatus 1 of a weaving machine, which is equipped with the driving gear 3 composed of the rotation driving force 4 and a transmission device 5 for transmitting the rotation of the driving force 4 to the warp beam 2 and in which the driving gear 3 rotates the warp beam 2 in the feed direction while applying damping force against warp tension to the warp beam 2, the apparatus is equipped with a damping device 10 for applying damping force to the warp beam 2 separately from the damping force of the driving gear 3 and damping force is applied to the warm beam 2 by the damping device 10.
