METHOD FOR TREATING Cu3Sb-CONTAINING SUBSTANCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating a Cu3Sb-containing substance such as Cu-removed dross and Sb-removed dross generated in a dry process such as lead smelting. SOLUTION: The Cu3Sb-containing substance is made into a melted state, and an oxidizing gas such as air is brought into contact with a metal phase composing the melted body, thus Cu is concentrated into the metal phase, and the metal phase is separated from the remainder, so as to be recovered. The temperature at the time of contacting the melted body with the oxidizing gas may be controlled to 890 to 1,200°C.
