BARREL PLATING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a general barrel plating apparatus may cause a defect such as irregularity on a plated film, because of continuously rotating the barrel always at a constant speed, and accordingly even when workpieces in the barrel have been overlapped or have been intertwined with each other, having no particular means for resolving the condition. SOLUTION: The barrel plating apparatus having the barrel which has a sectional regular polyhedron shape, is rotated by a gear mechanism transmitted to a drive motor, and is placed between a pair of support plates facing each other, comprises: a large diameter gear for finally reducing the speed of a gear mechanism, and an one side plate of the barrel, which are pivotally connected; a twisted spring existing around a shaft between the one side plate of the barrel and the large diameter gear; a projection having a tapered face along a circumferential tangent line integrally formed on a peripheral surface of the one side plate of the barrel; and a roller which is always pushed down and contacts with the peripheral surface of the one side plate of the barrel.
