Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective extraction method to give a β-glucan-rich extract from a deer horn and Ganoderma lucidum. SOLUTION: The extraction treatment method of β-glucan from the deer horn and Ganoderma lucidum is a treatment of the deer horn and Ganoderma lucidum by blasting and crushing them followed by extraction with a warm slightly weak alkaline buffer in the presence or absence of a protease.
